For a long time now I’ve had a dream. To create a small space — something very intimate and beautiful, with soft textures and colours, where the light is dim and soothing, and sound from the outside world is muffled. A space where you are visually and sonically removed from your everyday concerns.
And in this space, I would invite you to rest while I brush your hair.
Hair is rich in myth, magic, history and science. Hair is rich in stories. I want the feeling of this magical tent to be like the transportative feeling of a good story, where for a time, you are taken out of yourself.
I want you to feel taken care of. That you are safe and connected to another human being.
I invite you to join me in this space from December 1 to April 1. Whether you have long hair, short hair, or no hair, straight hair, curly hair, or anything in between, be at rest in my magical tent and let me pay attention to your scalp, and you.

1. What do you actually do during an appointment?
I will use brushes and combs in your hair. I will also be pulling gently on your hair and ears and lastly I will do some facial tracing. Nothing should cause you any discomfort. My goal in the appointment is to make you feel as relaxed and cared for as possible.

2. Do you clean your brushes?
Yes! My brushes and combs are sterilized after each appointment.

3. Can I bring my own brush?
Absolutely! Everyone's hair is different. I have a variety of brushes and combs but if you have a particular tool that works well with your hair, by all means bring it along. The most important thing is that it feels good for you.

4. I have very short hair/no hair. Does it make sense for me to make an appointment?
Yes, everyone deserves to treat themselves to this type of relaxing experience. Whether your head is covered in hair or not, it feels good to have it scritch scratched and to have someone give some love to your scalp.
